Our RISCube Ultra range of machines has proven to be popular, powerful and quiet (more info can be found by clicking here), and now the RISCube Mini packs it into a size that will fit in your briefcase. There's only one compromise with a RISCube Mini - lack of a built-in floppy drive - but otherwise all the core features of the RISCube Ultra are present - superb RISC OS performance thanks to Centrino technology, high speed hard drive, DVD/CD writer, plenty of RAM and so on. The actual size of the unit is just under that of an A4 sheet of paper, and just a few inches high. When you consider that it packs an optical drive, CPU, memory, full-size desktop hard drive, 5 USB2 ports and even a built-in camera card reader, you'll realise this is something very special.

The system is packed with super technology - even the graphics capability is not forgotten, with an ATI (one of the two market leaders) chip offering DVI digital monitor connectivity, a full set of 3D graphics features and high quality video playback. A dual core (processor) model is available for cutting through the most intensive tasks, and smoothing multitasking. You can even choose to have a built-in wireless network card! We like to call it our Dwarf computer - just like Tolkien's dwarves, it's powerful, compact and versatile - but rather more attractive!

The good news doesn't stop there though. These chips draw minimal power, and the compact size requires clever thermal/cooling design, allowing for the quietest operation of all our models. Indeed, after initial boot it can be completely silent (or as close as one can hear) and remains very quiet even under load. The improvement in work environment offered by this extra quietness (as compared with systems sold by many other companies, or DIY solutions) is profound.
